Job description

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to lead the development of advanced analytics solutions and machine learning models that drive business impact. Reporting to the VP of Business Analytics and Planning, the Sr. Manager, Data Science will work closely with cross-functional teams, including BI, Network, Marketing to deliver insights and scalable models that unlock value for the organization.

Key responsibilities include:

• Own data science projects from start to finish, including problem definition, data collection, model development, and implementation.
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models and advanced analytics solutions to solve complex business problems.
• Develop and implement predictive models to improve business metrics including churn, conversion rate, ARPU, etc.,
• Serve as a technical thought leader and subject matter expert in data science, advising on best practices and innovative techniques.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand challenges and translate them into data science solutions with measurable outcomes.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure robust data pipelines and scalable solutions.
• Present analytical findings and model outputs to senior leadership, communicating technical results effectively to non-technical audiences.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in machine learning, AI, and data science.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Advanced degree (Master’s) in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or related disciplines.
• 8+ years of experience in data science, including model development, statistical analysis, and business impact measurement.
• Strong expertise in machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data mining techniques.
• Proficiency with programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills and experience presenting to executives and stakeholders.
• Prior experience mentoring and leading technical teams.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) an asset
