Senior Manager, Data Analyst and Risk Management

Role Overview

Reporting to the Director, Workplace Strategy & Insights within the Group Products & Strategy team, part of Personal Savings and Investments, the Data Analyst will develop advanced data visualizations and analytics. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess and mitigate business risks, leveraging analytical and technical skills to drive data-informed decisions. Responsibilities include designing, building, and analyzing large datasets, creating visual reports, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Reporting and Analysis: Design and implement Tableau dashboards and complex Excel reports to support business decision-making. Develop operational dashboards for various stakeholders, analyze data to identify trends, and translate findings into actionable insights.
2. Risk and Compliance: Support risk assessments through data analysis, identify patterns indicating risks or inefficiencies, and ensure data practices comply with internal policies and external regulations such as DPR and SOX.
3. Ad hoc Data Support: Provide data development and analysis support upon request, delivering accurate data and insights.
4. Collaboration: Work with internal stakeholders including Finance, CXDI, DABI, and other data teams. Recommend analytics solutions and incorporate enterprise best practices.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of relevant experience
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Tableau Desktop, Python, SQL
• Strong analytical skills, experience with large datasets, and dashboard creation
• Ability to proactively resolve data and dashboard issues
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Group Retirement Market and products
• Proficiency in creating engaging presentations
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Risk Management concepts
• Data Science or Business Analysis certifications
