Job description

Our Banking client in Toronto, Ontario is looking to hire a Senior Manager, Data Analysis for a 3-month contract role.

What you will be doing…

1. Data Analysis:
   • Become the data subject matter expert (SME) for Cards, Payments, and Loyalty, Retail, Small Business, and Commercial credit card holders, supporting the Moneris Transformation Program (MTP) as part of the Commerce & Payment mega-journey.
   • Support the rollout of key business projects, ensuring data and analytics capabilities are developed on time and within budget.
   • Assist in data preparation for complex analytical projects.
   • Rapidly identify, prioritize, and deploy reporting and analytics to define new business opportunities and support informed decision-making using internal, industry, and competitor data.
   • Provide and support reporting requests related to Cards, Payments & Banking clients, and track the Moneris Transformational Program for internal and external groups.
2. BI Tool & Analytic Support:
   • Transform data utilization in Cards, Loyalty, and Enterprise Payments through advanced reporting and analytics.
   • Develop new methodologies and analytical tools to address complex business issues, monitor the impact of initiatives like pricing, acquisition, and portfolio management.
3. Value Added Consultation:
   • Lead or coordinate projects with partner groups to meet business requirements for Cards, Payment, and Loyalty, utilizing other Centres of Excellence.
   • Support senior management with the Reporting & Analytics workstream of the MTP as part of the mega-journey.
   • Analyze new business opportunities, provide recommendations, and assist in developing business cases.

What you will need to succeed…

Must have Skills: SQL, Tableau, Python. Experience in Financial Institutions (FI), card, payments, and loyalty is preferred.
