Grant Thornton seeks a Senior Manager in Cross Border Personal Tax to manage global tax compliance, mentor junior staff, and engage with clients in a dynamic work environment. This role offers a hybrid work model, focusing on professional growth and work-life balance with competitive benefits.

As a Senior Manager, Cross Border Personal Tax, your responsibilities will include:
• Managing and coordinating global tax compliance services for Canadian and multinational clients
• Collaborating with Grant Thornton International (GTI) member firms to deliver global tax solutions
• Supervising and reviewing work of junior team members
• Coaching junior team members in Cross Border Personal Tax
• Developing and delivering internal tax training courses
• Providing tax advice and solutions to clients and prospects to grow our business
• Contributing to business development and branding strategies
• Participating in leadership meetings and presenting to clients on Canadian and global tax matters
• Engaging with the professional services community in Southern Ontario

Qualifications we’re looking for:
• Commitment to exceptional client service
• Strong management and leadership skills
• Desire for technical and professional growth
• Excellent communication skills
• Relevant accounting designation
• 3-4 years US Tax experience, including at least 6 years in public practice
• Canadian tax experience
• Masters of Taxation (US), CPA (US), or EA is a plus
Work environment and benefits
