Senior Manager, Clinical Quality and Safety

Join a growing company in the evolving healthcare sector. Spectrum Health Care seeks a clinical professional with expertise in quality improvement, risk management, and patient safety to lead our Clinical Quality, Outcomes and Education team. The successful candidate will oversee the development and implementation of quality improvement, risk management, patient safety, and outcome measurement strategies across the organization.

With over 40 years of experience delivering innovative home health care and specialized services, Spectrum Health Care is committed to positive health system change. We are looking for a clinical quality and safety leader dedicated to continuous improvement.

  • Lead corporate-wide clinical quality improvement programs to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement patient safety initiatives, including incident reporting and root cause analysis, ensuring timely resolution of clinical risks and compliance gaps.
  • Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of clinical outcomes data to monitor performance and identify improvement areas, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Ensure clinical practices meet professional standards and stay updated on healthcare regulations, adjusting policies accordingly.
  • Engage with healthcare providers, patients, and regulatory agencies to promote quality, safety, and risk management initiatives.
  • Represent the organization in industry forums and contribute to setting standards in homecare quality and safety.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Public Health, Health Administration, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in clinical quality improvement, risk management, or patient safety, preferably in home care or community health.
  • Proven leadership in quality initiatives, patient safety programs, and risk management activities.
  • Proficiency with QI tools and software.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards in homecare.
  • Experience with data analysis, performance measurement, and benchmarking.
  • Certifications such as CPHQ, Clinical Risk Management, or QI methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma are advantageous.
