The Role:
The Senior Manager, Business Systems Manager is the overall application owner and relationship manager for a portfolio of Regulatory applications, including: Volcker Application, Covered Funds, Do Not Email, eQube Technical Lead, and others.

- The Senior Manager, Business Systems is the overall application owner and relationship manager for a portfolio of Regulatory applications including: Volcker Application, Covered Funds, Do Not Email, eQube Technical Lead, and others.
- Lead the business systems analysis team in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the end-to-end implementation of system enhancements ensuring compliance with Volcker and other Rule regulations.
- Partner with risk and compliance teams to translate regulatory requirements into functional specifications.
- Define and drive the roadmap for the application portfolio, aligning it with business and regulatory strategies.
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure system functionality meets compliance and business needs.
- Provide guidance on process improvements, automation, and data management strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Lead stakeholder meetings, conduct impact assessments, and manage change initiatives related to the Regulatory Application portfolio.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, invoices, and serve as application owner for specific applications.
Do you have the skills to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in business analysis within financial services, with a focus on regulatory applications.
- In-depth knowledge of Volcker and related Rule compliance, trading regulations, and financial instruments.
- Proven experience managing complex technology projects in compliance or regulatory domains.
- Strong understanding of data management, reporting tools, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Experience with business process modeling, workflow automation, and system implementation.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, PySpark, Airflow, Streaming Architecture, and GCP is a plus.
- Strong people management skills.
- Ability to contribute to projects being on schedule and meeting regulatory reporting requirements.
- Experience managing business testing through quality assurance teams for key projects.
- Experience managing projects involving change across multiple front-office systems and teams.
