You will engage with program and initiative teams, as well as Second Line partners, to ensure projects understand and adhere to regulatory compliance requirements and risk controls.

The Business Risk & Governance team provides risk advice, counsel, and guidance to product managers, other business owners, and senior management to enable key business initiatives. • Support the development of risk updates and reports for Cards & Loyalty SMT, including Risk Appetite, LOB Dashboard, Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), and the Annual Risk Assessment.
  • Provide guidance on escalated production issues impacting legal or regulatory obligations, ensuring they are tracked and resolved proactively, with appropriate controls.
  • Help develop policy requirements and supporting processes and controls.
  • Collaborate with BRMS control testing to onboard controls and develop testing practices.
  • Support and guide Risk Assessments, ensuring risks are identified, mitigated, and reported, with action plans as needed. Monitor Risk Appetite, Key Risk Indicators, and Control Testing Results.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, facilitating trade-offs and prioritization decisions by providing strategic risk and regulatory insights based on thorough research and analysis.
  • Manage regulatory requirements and reporting, supporting their implementation to ensure alignment with business strategies and operational needs, and respond effectively to regulatory bodies.
