Description

The Senior Manager, Business Development is responsible for identifying, developing, and driving revenue growth through strategic partnership, manage and optimize existing revenue partnership relationships, create new referral partnerships as part of the Embark Partner Program, an affiliate marketing program. This role will focus on building relationships with third‑party product/solution providers, distribution partners, affiliate/referral partners, and other key stakeholders within the financial services ecosystem. The Senior Manager will collaborate closely with Embark’s product, marketing, analytics and sales teams, to proactively manage the critical aspects of these partnerships.

The Senior Manager will lead a team of Partner Program Representatives that capture referral partners as part of Embark’s Partner Program.

CHALLENGES TO BE MET
  • Drive net new revenue acquisition and support the expansion of RESP product distribution through sustainable, high‑impact partnerships.
  • Manage the full partnership cycle, including sourcing prospects, pitching, onboarding, nurturing relationships, and tracking/reporting on partnership outcomes.
  • Identify, evaluate, and execute high‑priority business development opportunities aligned with company goals.
  • Develop and implement partnership strategies and business development plans targeting both new and existing partners to maximize revenue and growth.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key external partners and stakeholders.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure effective infrastructure and support around new and existing partnerships.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders on strategic projects and provide market and partnership insights to inform decision‑making.
  • Represent Embark at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities, effectively promoting the organization’s mission, vision, and value proposition.
  • Monitor industry trends and the competitive landscape; provide recommendations for strategic adjustments and new partnership opportunities.
