Job summary

BDO Canada in Winnipeg is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Assurance team and own the audit portfolio for Private and NPO clients. You will oversee year-end engagements, manage client relationships, and contribute to business development while guiding staff on audit standards.

Ideal candidates hold a CPA designation with 5+ years of public accounting audit experience, including ASPE/ASNPO exposure, and demonstrate teamwork, client service, and analytical problem-solving skills.

Our Winnipeg office is looking for a Senior Manager to join the Assurance team and own the following responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of audit projects for Private or NPO organizations
  • Efficiently prepare year-end audit engagements for your clients in a variety of industries.
  • Perform audits on a variety of clients, prepare working papers per regulatory standards.
  • Build positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to request and suggestions.
  • Participate in business development initiatives and identify new business opportunities with existing clients.
  • Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis.
  • Engage in training staff and invest in the professional development of your team.

Your Experience And Education
  • You have completed your CPA designation
  • You have at least 5 years of audit experience in the public accounting industry
  • In depth experience in relation to ASPE or ASNPO files
