Your Opportunity

BDO Canada's London-Windsor group of offices are looking for Senior Accountants to join our Assurance team. This is a replacement role where the candidate will own the following responsibilities:

  • Lead audit engagements, prepare working papers and compile financial statements, all in line with regulatory standards.
  • Streamline year‑end engagements and prepare tax returns for clients across a variety of industries.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, and address their needs and suggestions promptly.
  • Contribute to business development and identify opportunities with existing clients.
  • Keep your team in the loop on progress and potential issues, fostering a collaborative environment.

Your Experience and Education
  • You’re a CPA, or working towards your CPA designation, with at least 3 years of experience in external audit in the public accounting sector.
  • You have a strong understanding of accounting standards and regulations.
  • You are highly detail‑oriented and demonstrate excellent time‑management skills with the ability to handle multiple engagements simultaneously.
  • You are proactive in seeking out professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • You have strong problem‑solving, analytical and communication skills.

The expected range of compensation for this role is: $62,000 to $96,000
