Job summary

WCB-Alberta is seeking a Senior Management Auditor to join Management Audit Services. You will lead internal audit engagements, assess governance, risk and controls, and provide practical recommendations to strengthen processes across the organization.

You will collaborate with diverse teams, work with external professionals, and contribute to assurance activities while supporting the Chief Internal Auditor. A strong candidate brings 3+ years in audit/risk and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• University degree or diploma in Business, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Social Sciences, Kinesiology, Rehabilitation or Disability Management or related disciplines.
• Minimum three years of progressive experience in internal audit, external audit, risk management, compliance, financial oversight, digital transformation or related field.
• Experience planning and leading complex audits and advisory engagements in line with internal audit standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of WCB-Alberta’s structure, governance, priorities, and processes to assess risk and provide practical recommendations.
• Plan and complete audit/advisory engagements from the MAS Internal Audit Plan with timeliness, budget and quality.
• Collaborate with business areas to build relationships and communicate observations clearly.
• Support the Chief Internal Auditor and MAS team in requests from Senior Management or the Audit Committee.
