Canadian Linen & Uniform Service Corp. is seeking a Chief Engineer to oversee safe and efficient operation, maintenance, service and repair of all plant equipment and process systems.
The role requires leadership, proactive problem solving and the ability to work with a team in a fast-paced industrial environment. Responsibilities include safety accountability, daily maintenance audits, boiler operations, equipment modifications, and coordinating large repairs.
Qualifications
- 4th Class Power Engineer certification required to operate 750 kW boiler.
- Experience in industrial maintenance.
- Ability to read electrical codes and schematics.
- Knowledge of PLCs and electromechanical systems.
Responsabilités
- Ensure safety and maintenance of equipment and process systems.
- Perform daily boiler checks and monitor systems.
- Coordinate with contractors for major repairs.
- Develop maintenance schedules and budgets.
- Lead and develop maintenance staff.
- Assist in capital improvement planning.
