Job summary

Ledcor is seeking an experienced Superintendent for a site-based role in Caledon, ON. You will manage field operations, lead manpower and materials planning, and coordinate M&E work to ensure project quality, safety, and schedule adherence.

The role requires strong communication and leadership to drive successful project delivery. With over 6 years of supervisory experience on large ICI projects, you will address complex M&E challenges, review specifications and drawings, and mentor junior staff

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Superintendent or similar supervisory role on large ICI projects.
• Healthcare and design-build project experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, boilers, chillers, and electrical systems.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors, ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Familiarity with OH&S and environmental standards.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug and alcohol test.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction to ensure alignment with plans, specs and codes.
• Review tender packages and M&E scope of work with budgets and contracts.
• Develop and manage mechanical/electrical schedules, track progress and delays.
• Support project managers with RFIs, shop drawings, and completion requirements.
• Plan manpower, material needs and equipment availability.
• Coordinate M&E work to project requirements and resolve drawing conflicts.
• Maintain quality via the Project Quality Program.
• Lead project meetings with stakeholders and mentor team members.
