Job summary

Apertera is seeking a senior technical lead to drive automation across Professional Translation workflows, including intake, quoting, project setup, and QA. You will own the automation roadmap and lead a small agile team focused on localization tooling and data-driven improvements.

The role requires deep understanding of translation operations, linguistic assets, and system integrations with Plunet, Phrase, HubSpot, and Jira to deliver auditable, scalable solutions. Based in Toronto, Ontario.

Qualifications

Senior technical lead with proven experience in translation operations and automation.
Experience building auditable, scalable tooling for production workflows.
Experience leveraging linguistic assets (TM, terminology) to improve efficiency.
Strong stakeholder collaboration and agile team leadership.

Responsibilities

Own and prioritize automation roadmap for Professional Translation workflows.
Lead cross-functional teams to implement production automation across intake, quoting, project setup, QA, and reporting.
Leverage linguistic assets to improve TM usage, terminology consistency, and reuse.
Integrate data from Plunet, Phrase, HubSpot, Jira, and other tools to improve visibility.
Partner with security and architecture teams to ensure compliant tooling.
