About the role

TMF Group is looking to expand its Global Loan Administration team based in Halifax to support our Private Equity portfolio in North America by adding a Senior Loan Administrator to perform the following activities :

Key Responsibilities :

• Receive and process facility level loan set ups.
• Receive, review and post trading activity from client onto Loan systems.
• Collect loan documentation (credit agreements, funding notices, agent notices), interpret basic activity and post or validate to loan system.
• Receive client bank statements; validate simple differences and initiate course of action to correct; notate differences on Loan Admin system.
• Monitor client requests and escalate with TL to resolve.
• Internal TMF facing, eg NAV teams, on routine items.

Key Requirements :

• BA University degree or 4th year student;
• Education background in Accounting / Finance / Business Administration;
• Affinity to capital investments analytics, administration and reporting;
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Direct loans system and documentation knowledge / experience is not essential however, employee will be extensively trained on these topics, however candidate will need to show keen willingness to learn.
• Desirable knowledge on Sentry, LoanIQ, Solvas, and related systems.
