Cogir Senior Living in Edmonton, Canada seeks a Maintenance Assistant to perform routine repairs and basic maintenance across our residence. You will work to ensure safety, comfort, and high quality service for residents.

Responsibilities include inspections, simple carpentry and painting, plumbing and electrical touch-ups, and following facility policies. The role requires physical effort and the ability to work independently while maintaining a respectful, service-oriented approach.

Qualificações

• Must follow oral and written instructions in English.
• Ability to work independently.
• Physically capable of moving heavy objects.
• Familiar with minor repairs to facility and equipment.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, heating and painting.
• Able to track work and costs in budget records.
• Health and Safety – willing to obtain Vulnerable Sector Check.

Responsabilidades

• Executes routine repairs on electrical, mechanical, plumbing equipment and building.
• Paints, carpentry, and maintains exterior grounds.
• Inspects premises for maintenance and safety, files reports.
• Adheres to facility policies and safety rules.
• Supports housekeeping and maintenance duties as needed.
• Work in a position of trust with residents; uphold ethics and integrity.
