Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the environmental services team within our retirement community. You will oversee ongoing maintenance, safety, and housekeeping tasks, ensuring a high standard of resident comfort and service.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years in environmental services and/or maintenance, preferably in seniors living.
Experience leading a team; union environment experience is a plus.
Knowledge of building systems: plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and emergency systems.
Experience with housekeeping, laundry and maintenance is preferred.
Familiarity with PPE use and IPAC protocols.
Must have or be enrolled in a facility management program or trades license.
Willingness to obtain JHSC certification and heights training.
Strong computer skills.
Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain one.
