Job summary

Future Electronics is seeking a Linux Administrator to install, configure, maintain and monitor enterprise Linux servers, ensuring stability, performance and security of mission-critical systems.

The role collaborates with IT, networking, database and cybersecurity teams; supports automation with Bash and Ansible; and contributes to backup, high-availability, and disaster recovery efforts while offering mentorship and career progression.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Linux system administration experience with hands-on RHEL or Rocky Linux.
• Experience maintaining Linux servers, troubleshooting, patching, and performance monitoring.
• Familiarity with Bash scripting and automation tools like Ansible.
• Experience with SAN/storage or other Unix operating systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise Linux systems.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity to ensure reliable operations.
• Manage system updates, security patches, user access, and vulnerability remediation.
• Automate routine tasks using shell scripting and configuration management tools.
• Support backup, recovery, high-availability, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Collaborate with IT teams to resolve infrastructure issues and maintain system security.
