Grouse Mountain in North Vancouver, BC, is seeking a reliable 1st Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will bring passion for food, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You will handle secondary production, follow standard guidelines, and contribute to a high-energy service. We offer competitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities for growth within Vancouver's premier resort.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years kitchen experience preferred.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Capable of working under pressure and supervising during service.
• Personable, friendly, and strong customer service skills.
• High energy and work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and transform raw ingredients; cook using multiple methods.
• Maintain food quality per guidelines from Chef de Partie to Chef.
• Sauce and soup making; basic chocolate work and hot/cold line cooking.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene per Provincial Standards.
• Continually learn and improve; perform other duties as required.
