Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Teach up to three students at a time at different levels.
• Teach both online and in-person (pre-planned lessons).
• Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies.
• Fill in post-lesson notes.
• Complete daily student communication updates.
• Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times.

Position Overview

Part-time Senior Level Math Teacher-Tutor (Grades 11-12). Motivated by mathematics? Excited by equations? Eager to help students succeed? Oxford Learning Ocean Park is looking for an upbeat, reliable, enthusiastic, dynamic instructor to work in a rewarding teaching environment. Candidates must possess a strong background in Math and be comfortable teaching students in Grades 11-12 at all levels, including advanced functions, calculus, and data management.

Position Requirements

All Teacher-Tutors work after-school and evening hours (3:00pm-7:00pm) and some Saturdays (10:00am-3:00pm). A commitment until the end of the term in June is preferred; continuing through summer is even better. The role is in-person; relocation packages are not available. Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in a relevant field

Experience

Job Details
