Job summary

Subway is seeking a Senior Leasing Representative to manage a restaurant lease portfolio across Canada. You will negotiate renewals, review LOIs, and support the Real Estate team with risk mitigation and value-driven lease strategies.

Ideal candidates bring 5–8 years in commercial leasing, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and the ability to work with franchisees and landlords in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual English/French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• 5–8 years of commercial leasing, real estate, or asset management experience.
• Strong expertise in lease negotiation and financial structures.
• Experience in market analysis and determining fair market rents.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume portfolios with competing priorities.
• Bilingual English/French is an added asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of restaurant leases and manage critical dates.
• Lead lease renewals, extensions, and renegotiations for cost optimization.
• Mitigate lease-related risks and ensure compliance.
• Build relationships with landlords, REITs, developers, and brokers.
• Advise franchisees on lease obligations, risks, and opportunities.
• Support closures, relocations, and relocations with strategic planning.
• Collaborate with Real Estate, Development, and Operations teams.
• Represent Subway at industry events and benchmark market trends.
