As our ApplyBoard team continues to grow rapidly worldwide, we are expanding our Global Learning & Development team in Canada. This role involves designing, managing, and facilitating learning solutions to deliver a world-class experience for our employees and to support strategic initiatives that enhance our programs and processes. The individual will report to the Associate Director of Learning and Development at our Canada headquarters and collaborate closely with the Global P&C team to develop impactful learning experiences across ApplyBoard.
What you’ll be doing every day :
- Coordinate learning launches by collaborating with internal stakeholders to foster buy-in and increase adoption rates.
- Support the full cycle of learning design and development on a global scale, utilizing various instructional techniques (e.g., eLearning, microlearning, instructor-led).
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and the learner experience, implementing continuous improvements.
- Create and support a positive learning environment for all employees.
- Leverage your expertise in design, facilitation, and participant engagement to develop and maintain learning materials such as slide decks, presentations, eLearning modules, etc.
- Analyze survey data related to learning programs, generate reports, and suggest improvements.
- Apply data analysis to inform decisions regarding learning needs and solutions.
- Support a comprehensive learning framework for ApplyBoard employees across all functions, in partnership with the P&C team.
- Collaborate with HR Partners and stakeholders to identify current and future training needs.
- Implement employee engagement initiatives in partnership with the Global P&C team to enhance engagement scores annually.
- Mentor fellow L&D team members to scale our learning offerings.
- Drive efficiencies and improve productivity within L&D processes.

- Excellent technical writing skills.
- Certification in Adult Learning and/or Leadership Coaching.
- Experience with LMS platforms, preferably Brightspace LMS, is an asset.
- Prior experience with Employee Engagement initiatives.
