Senior Learning Consultant/Partner

Location: Hybrid - 243 Consumers Road (4 days in office) or Remote

We are seeking a visionary Senior Learning Consultant/Partner who will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering impactful learning solutions that enhance employee performance and support our strategic objectives. You will leverage your expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles, and technology-enabled learning to create engaging and effective experiences. Reporting to the Director of Learning and Development, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify learning needs, design innovative solutions, and measure program impact.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Needs Analysis & Consulting: Conduct assessments to identify skill gaps and learning opportunities. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business objectives into effective learning strategies.
  2. Instructional Design & Development: Design, develop, and deliver engaging learning solutions, including e-learning, instructor-led training, blended programs, and performance support tools. Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  3. Technology Integration: Experience with LMS platforms (e.g., Cornerstone), e-learning tools, and modern methods (microlearning, virtual workshops). Demonstrated ability in creating learning materials from start to finish.
  4. Attention to Detail: Manage projects meticulously, considering organizational complexity from design to deployment.
  5. Project Management: Oversee learning projects from inception to delivery, ensuring timely, within-budget, high-quality outcomes.
  6. Evaluation & Measurement: Develop strategies to assess program effectiveness, analyze data, and recommend improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years as an Instructional Designer and/or Learning Project Manager
  • Post-secondary education in communications, marketing, business, human resources, adult education, or related field
  • Bilingual (English/French) proficiency preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with all levels, including senior leadership, to build relationships and influence decisions
  • Proven experience in creating engaging digital content; UX design knowledge is a plus
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Adaptable and effective in a fast-paced environment
