BC Hydro is seeking a Senior Land Surveyor to manage a wide variety of survey projects supporting engineering, construction and land tenure management. You will coordinate with internal clients to define scope and budget and deliver services through the internal survey team and external consultants.

You will supervise field and office staff, act as BC Hydro Representative on contracts with external surveyors, and work with the properties management group to safeguard BC Hydro interests.

Formación

• Licensed BC Land Surveyor in good standing with ABCLS; 8+ years preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with internal clients.
• Canada Lands Surveyor designation or Geomatics-related credentials are assets.

Responsabilidades

• Lead diverse survey projects to support engineering, construction and land tenure.
• Define scope and budget with internal clients; deliver services via internal team and external consultants.
• Supervise field and office staff delivering survey products and mentoring team members.
• Act as BC Hydro representative on contracts with external surveyors and consultants across the province.
• Collaborate with the properties management group to safeguard BC Hydro interests.
• Advise on Geodesy, spatial data management/quality, land tenure and contract management.
• Monitor quality control to ensure products meet BC Hydro and industry standards.
• Maintain relationships with LTSA, NRCAN, MOTI, Municipalities and other stakeholders.
