What You Will Do

Civil Project Management:
  • Direct project teams, schedule tasks effectively, and facilitate communication between stakeholders.
  • Provide technical guidance on sewer systems, water management, earthworks, and road infrastructure projects.
  • Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality control.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, understand industry trends, and expand the client base.
  • Collaborate with clients to define project requirements and expectations.
  • Handle project finances, including invoicing, budget management, and financial reporting.
  • Coordinate construction activities and contract administration as per project scope.
  • Ensure timely project completion and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Maintain awareness of regulatory policies and foster relationships with officials.
  • Uphold the firm's quality management standards and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate subcontractor activities as necessary.
Business Development
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with prospective and existing clients.
  • Develop project scopes, budgets, proposals, and negotiate contracts.
  • Cultivate and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.

What You Bring To The Table

  • Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • P. Eng. C.E.T. or LET designation in Ontario.
  • 8+ years of experience in consulting engineering or municipal environments, preferably in Ontario.
  • Understanding of Land Development and Site Plan review processes.
  • Proficiency in government standards, engineering practices, and regulations.
  • Strong project management skills in sewer and roadway design, storm-water management, and environmental assessments.
  • Experience applying municipal engineering design criteria.
  • Ability to coordinate and manage project teams and multiple projects.
  • Proven track record in project management and business development.
  • Excellent communication, management, and supervisory skills.
  • High standards, leadership, efficiency, and a strong work ethic.
  • Experience in land and site development in GTA and surrounding areas, municipal experience preferred.
