Job summary

ThoughtStorm is seeking an experienced Solution Architect / Senior Application Consultant with deep JDA PMM expertise to lead functional and technical initiatives in a retail merchandising environment.

The role focuses on end-to-end PMM support, architecture design, and cross- system integrations across ERP, POS, and Data Warehouse. You will partner with business users and IT teams to optimize processes and roadmap initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise application consulting or solution architecture experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on JDA PMM experience.
• Strong expertise in JDA PMM / Blue Yonder merchandising applications.
• Strong understanding of retail merchandising and retail operations.
• Experience with Item Management, Product Lifecycle, Vendor, Assortment, Pricing, Cost, and Category Management.
• Strong SQL, data analysis, integration, interface, and application support experience.
• Experience integrating merchandising platforms with ERP, POS, Supply Chain, Data Warehouse, and Vendor systems.
• Experience with APIs, ETL, batch processing, application troubleshooting, SIT/UAT, upgrades, and production support.
• Experience with solution design, architecture documentation, impact assessment, and application optimization.
• Blue Yonder/JDA platform, ITIL, cloud migration, TOGAF, or solution architecture certification experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end JDA PMM application support, including incidents, service requests, troubleshooting, problem management, and root cause analysis.
• Act as a functional SME across Item Management, Product Lifecycle Management, Vendor Management, Assortment Management, Pricing & Cost Management, and Category Management.
• Support Merchandise Hierarchies, Product Attributes, Master Data Governance, and related merchandising processes.
• Translate business requirements into scalable solution designs, functional specifications, and architecture documentation.
• Support integrations between JDA PMM and ERP, Supply Chain, POS, Data Warehouse, and Vendor systems.
• Troubleshoot SQL, APIs, ETL processes, interfaces, batch jobs, and data-related issues.
• Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, production validation, upgrades, patches, and release management.
• Identify opportunities for application optimization, automation, process improvement, and roadmap initiatives.
• Collaborate with business, application, technical, and operational teams to ensure stable and effective merchandising solutions.
