Responsibilities

• Act as SME across JDE modules with end-to-end business process understanding.
• Provide hands-on JDE development: BSFN, ER, Table Conversions, NER, orchestrations.
• Lead design and implementation of JDE customizations and integrations.
• Drive complex integrations between JDE and BI, payroll, banking, and AP tools.
• Ensure 24x7 system stability; participate in on-call rotation.
• Lead upgrades, migrations, DRP, and digital transformation projects.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Design and optimize BI Publisher reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate needs into scalable solutions.
• Mentor team members and provide technical/functional leadership.
• Apply SQL to query/extract data from Oracle and MS SQL Server.

The Opportunity

KGHM International is actively looking to source a full-time, permanent Senior JD Edwards ERP & Enterprise Solutions Specialist (Functional + Technical Lead), based out of Toronto and/or Sudbury Ontario.

Scope of the Role

The Senior Enterprise Solutions Specialist is a hybrid functional and technical expert responsible for the design, development, and support of JD Edwards (JDE) solutions across key business domains. This role requires deep hands-on expertise in both JDE development and functional processes (Finance, Procurement, Inventory, and CAM/Maintenance), supporting complex, multi-site operations.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) across JDE modules including Finance, Procurement, Inventory, and CAM (Maintenance), with strong understanding of end-to-end business processes.
• Provide hands-on technical development in JDE, including: Business Functions (BSFN), Event Rules (ER), Table Conversions, Named Event Rules (NER), Orchestrations and integrations
• Lead the design and implementation of JDE customizations, integrations, and enhancements aligned with business needs
• Drive complex integrations between JDE and third-party systems (e.g., BI platforms, payroll, banking, AP automation tools)
• Ensure system stability and business continuity in a 24x7 operational environment, including participation in on-call rotation
• Lead and support major initiatives such as JDE upgrades, migrations, DRP (Disaster Recovery), and digital transformation projects
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis across both functional and technical issues.
• Design and optimize reporting solutions using BI Publisher
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Mentor team members and provide technical and functional leadership across the organization.
• Apply structured query language to query and extract data from Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases.

Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge

Must-have:

8–10+ years of JD Edwards experience, including both:

• Functional expertise across Finance, Procurement, Inventory, and CAM

Proven experience as a technical JDE developer, including:

• BSFN, ER, Table Conversions, Orchestrator

Strong experience with:

• BI Publisher (mandatory)

Demonstrated experience leading or playing a key role in:

• Complex implementations or system transformations

Advanced knowledge of:

• JDE security and role design
• Integration patterns (APIs, Orchestrator, middleware such as Kafka/NiFi is a plus)

Strong SQL skills (Oracle + MS SQL Server) for data analysis and troubleshooting

Experience in multi-site, global environments with cross-functional teams

• Strong ownership
• Strong stakeholder communication across business and technical teams
• Proactive mindset with sense of urgency and problem-solving focus

Language:

• The language of operation for our office is English
• Spanish language is a nice to have

Compensation

The compensation for this role is CAD$100,010 to CAD$105,000 dependent on location and experience.
