Job summary

Groupe Conseil Era is seeking a JD Edwards Functional Consultant for Manufacturing modules to join our team and contribute to client digital transformations. You will focus on optimizing, integrating, and supporting the JD Edwards solution, particularly in Distribution and Manufacturing areas.

The role requires at least five years of hands-on experience with JD Edwards Manufacturing modules, along with strong communication in French and functional English.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience implementing, optimizing, and supporting JD Edwards Manufacturing modules (EnterpriseOne or World).
• Proficient spoken and written French with functional English.
• Strong knowledge of ERP integration, configuration, queries, interfaces, and reports.

Responsibilities

• Analyze clients’ business needs and recommend best practices within the JD Edwards Manufacturing ecosystem.
• Design and configure operational processes (sales, purchasing, inventory, production, and planning) per client expectations.
• Draft functional analyses, validate specs, document processes, and develop test scenarios.
• Support implementation: configuration, coordination with technical teams, user acceptance testing, go-live support.
• Train users and support adoption of new solutions.
• Provide ongoing functional follow-up and post-deployment support.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success in an agile environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO ON A DAILY BASIS

As a JD Edwards Functional Consultant Manufacturing modules, you will play a key role in our clients’ digital transformation by contributing to the optimization, integration, and support of their Oracle JD Edwards solution, primarily focusing on the Distribution and Manufacturing modules.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze clients’ business needs and recommend best practices and solutions within the JD Edwards Manufacturing ecosystem.
• Design and configure operational processes (sales, purchasing, inventory management, production, and manufacturing planning) in line with client expectations.
• Draft functional analyses, validate technical specifications, document processes, and develop test scenarios.
• Support the implementation of solutions: configuration, coordination with technical teams, acceptance testing, go-live support.
• Train users and support them in adopting the new solutions.
• Provide ongoing functional follow‑up and post‑deployment support.
• Actively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success in an agile and collaborative environment.

YOU WILL BE PERFECT FOR THE ROLE IF YOU HAVE:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in implementation, optimization, and support of the Manufacturing modules on the JD Edwards platform (EnterpriseOne or World).
• Experience in the manufacturing or distribution sector is an asset.
• Languages: Proficient spoken and written French, functional English.
• Excellent knowledge of JD Edwards Manufacturing modules.
• Good understanding of ERP integration with other modules, configuration, queries, interfaces, and reports.
• Analytical mindset, practical sense.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• An ability to simplify concepts.
• Ease in working within a multidisciplinary team.
