Job summary

Myticas Consulting seeks a senior Integration Lead to design, develop, and deliver scalable integration solutions using Java and Spring Boot. Lead architecture and hands-on implementation across enterprise services and APIs.

You will guide teams in designing event-driven architectures, RESTful and GraphQL APIs, and scalable microservices, ensuring performance, security, and reliability across platforms.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of professional software development experience, with emphasis on enterprise integration.
• Advanced, hands-on expertise with Java.
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
• Proven experience developing microservices and integration applications.
• Experience designing enterprise integration solutions.
• Strong understanding of microservices and distributed architectures.
• Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures and messaging technologies (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ).
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and integration services.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle).
• Experience with Spring Data JPA or similar persistence frameworks.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Experience with Git or similar version-control platforms.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to mentor developers and provide technical direction.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise integration solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership while contributing to development.
• Design and build scalable microservices and integration services connecting enterprise apps.
• Develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs for integrations.
• Implement event-driven, asynchronous integrations using Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ.
• Translate requirements into technical designs and integration patterns.
• Collaborate with backend, frontend, architecture, product, DevOps, and engineering teams.
• Design for performance, scalability, resiliency, security, and maintainability.
• Establish error handling, monitoring, logging, retries, and recovery mechanisms.
• Develop unit tests with JUnit, Mockito, etc., and perform integration testing to validate data flows.
• Lead code reviews and ensure adherence to standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex integration issues across production and non-production environments.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases on integration solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers.
• Help establish integration architecture, patterns, and development practices.
