Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on software development experience, backend focus, enterprise-scale systems.
• Deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot with SQL and real-time messaging.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• Experience delivering microservices-based architectures in production.
• Proficiency with Angular and JavaScript across full stack is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead development of scalable, high-performance applications within Citi's Insight regulatory framework.
• Design and implement solutions using Java, Spring Boot, SQL and real-time messaging for large-scale data processing.
• Build and optimize data pipelines and analytics workflows with Big Data tech.
• Define and enforce engineering standards for coding, testing, debugging, and deployment.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and analysts, providing technical direction.
• Ensure compliance, data integrity, and regulatory adherence in engineering decisions.
• Collaborate with architecture, infra, and business teams to deliver new capabilities.
