Citi is seeking a Senior Java Technology Developer – Vice President to own critical Credit Risk and Capital Markets platforms, driving modernization to cloud-native microservices within a globally distributed team.

You will shape architecture, set engineering standards, mentor engineers, and deliver high-impact solutions. Deep Java expertise, domain knowledge in Capital Markets, and leadership at scale are essential; hybrid work includes in-office in Mississauga with remote options.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in application development or systems analysis.
• Deep expertise in Core Java and object-oriented design, with concurrency and performance tuning.
• Experience re-engineering monoliths to microservices and deploying Docker/Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of distributed data processing (Flink) and distributed caches (Redis/Coherence/GridGain).
• DB experience with Oracle and NoSQL (MongoDB).
• Capital Markets domain knowledge (Derivatives, Credit Risk, Risk Management).
• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
