Job summary
eHealth Saskatchewan is seeking a Senior Application Support Analyst with strong Java development, scripting, and problem-solving skills to support and enhance custom pharmacy solutions and healthcare applications.
You will lead initiatives, design and troubleshoot integrations, monitor production environments, and mentor cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, scalable technology that improves patient care.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years in an Application Support Analyst or similar role.
- Strong background in Java enterprise development (Spring, RESTful APIs, web services).
- Experience with SQL, data modeling, CI/CD, version control, and DevOps.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and modernize legacy applications using Java and related technologies.
- Design, develop, maintain, and support mission-critical healthcare applications and integrations.
- Develop, test, deploy, and troubleshoot code following best practices and change management.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement solutions to improve reliability and performance.
- Design and support APIs, interfaces, and data integrations across enterprise systems.
- Monitor production environments and assess the impact of upgrades and releases.
