Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
• Perform unit and integration testing of developed components
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Stakeholders to understand functional and technical requirements
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Analyze and resolve technical issues and bugs in a timely manner
• Optimize and refactor existing code for performance improvements
• Participate in application monitoring, health checks, and performance tuning
• Collaborate with DevOps / Release teams to build, test, and deploy applications
• Support production releases and post-deployment verification
• Participate in automation and CI / CD pipeline improvements
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and solution design documents
• Share knowledge with team members through KT sessions or code walkthroughs
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (QA, Infra, Business, Product)
• Provide regular updates on progress, challenges, and risks

Requirements

• Very strong in Java development. Good analysis / coding, and designing skills
• Need strong knowledge of Java
• Should have experience with CI / CD pipeline on AWS stack. (Good knowledge of EKS required)
• Capital Markets experience is good to have (Understanding of securities, derivatives)
• We need candidates very strong in analysis, development of Java applications

This posting includes a base salary range EPAM Canada would reasonably expect to pay the selected candidate. Individual compensation offers within the range are based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, training, the demand for the role, skillset, and overall business and local labour market considerations. Most candidates are hired at a salary within the range disclosed. Salary range : CA$100,000 - CA$130,000.
