Job summary

TD Securities is seeking a Senior Java Developer (Engineer I) to join the Trading Risk Warehouse platform within TD Securities. You will design, develop, test, and support software used by Risk Analysts and Front Office Traders in a large distributed system.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Java/JEE, experience with Spark/Scala or Python, and strong REST API and Spring Boot knowledge. This role offers a competitive CAD salary and opportunities for growth in a global tech team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience with Java/JEE and object-oriented programming.
• 3+ years of experience with Big Data technologies such as Spark, Scala, Hadoop, or Hive.
• Experience developing data processing pipelines using Spark, Scala, or Python.
• Experience working with Cassandra or other NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with relational databases and strong SQL skills.
• Experience building or consuming REST APIs.

• Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient applications on distributed computing platforms.
