Job summary

TD is seeking an experienced senior-level engineer to execute on engineering strategy for automation of build, test, release, and configure activities across Applications, Platform and Infrastructure. You will lead the creation of comprehensive end-to-end solutions and coordinate stakeholders to support development initiatives, while aligning with architectural direction and performance requirements.

You will develop detailed solution designs and act as a subject-matter expert through the design

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in computer science or engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of software engineering practices and lifecycle.
  • Experience leading complex applications development and architecture alignment.

Responsibilities

  • Execute on Engineering strategy for tool automation across applications, platforms and infrastructure.
  • Lead end-to-end solution design and coordinate stakeholders as required to support development initiatives.
  • Develop functional, technical and UI designs that meet defined requirements and standards.
  • Collaborate with Architects to ensure environment changes interact properly and meet performance needs.
  • Identify improvements to enhance customer experience, availability and reduce cost.

following a \"build it, break it, fix it mentality\".Responsible for developing and documenting detailed solution design and act as an application SME through the design and development lifecycle ensuring alignment with ArchitectureAccountable for complex applications/systems development, programming /codingDevelop functional, technical and user interface designs for an application / system that meets the defined requirements (business, enterprise architecture direction, system performance and development standards)Consult on development of requirements and specifications and apply functional knowledge of business functions to design optimal software / systemsReview technical deliverables throughout detailed design and development phase to ensure quality adherence and identify gaps or redesign requirements as neededIdentify, recommend, source, negotiate and implement improvements/ solutions (buy/build/reuse) to enhance customer experience, availability, and/or reduce cost in support of client needsWork with Technology partners to define metrics and performance goals for the applicationIdentify and address application and data issues and cross-capability and cross-release issues that affect application integrityResearch/analyze business requirements to evaluate and recommend optimal solutions within business technology architecture;
