Luxoft is engaging in a platform development for a world-leading global bank. The candidate will build and own strategic reference data platforms, participating across SDLC in an agile Scrum environment.

You will work with a diverse global team, liaise with Business Analysts, Production Support and infrastructure, delivering projects on time while driving performance and scalability improvements.

Formación

• 6+ years of IT experience with Java development.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

For the world most global bank we are building the platform, which supports various information gathering and processing across the organization and providing access to this data

Responsibilities

• Candidate will be responsible for building out the firm's strategic reference data platforms to serve businesses within client company. The successful applicant will take ownership of key projects and components and will be responsible for all phases of SDLC including analysis and design, development, testing and deployment. As a developer, the candidate will be responsible for developing & deploying technical solution following engineering excellence standards. A potential candidate will need to understand system and enterprise architecture concepts and will be expected to understand how all components fir[?] together and impact one another. They will work with a global and diverse team of peers as well as liaise closely with Business Analyst, Production Support, and infrastructure teams.Responsibilities:- Deliver assigned development projects withing agreed schedule, quality and scope expectations- Participate in all stages of SDLC within an agile Scrum environment- Form partnership with technology vendors and gain deep understanding of products- Enhance/Re-architect existing components to satisfy new requirements in terms of performance and scalability- Provide level 3 (escalation) support for the application

SKILLS

Must have

• - At least 6+ years of experience with Java, and 7+ total IT experience.- Logical thinking, strong analytical and problem-solving skills; innovate and solutions oriented- Effective time management skills to manage multiple priorities with flexibility on time zones and timelines- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experienceExperience/understanding with the following technologies:- Java (Core, JDBC, MT, Collections, I/O), Spring Boot- SQL.PL-SQL on Oracle DB- Container platform based on Kubernetes- REST web services, Kafka, Redis- Unix Commands and shell scripting.- Familiarity with standard data structures and algorithms.- Experience using the following tools - JIRA, Harness/uDeploy, SonarQube, TeamCity, Artifactory, Git (GHE & Bitbucket)

Nice to have

- Master's degree or PHD in relevant field is desirable- Experience working with the Scrum methodology- Experience working with a NoSQL database- Experience designing and implementing microservices- Financial services technology experience preferably in reference data domain- Physical and logical data modeling
