Luxoft is seeking a senior Java developer for a global bank project in Mississauga, Canada. You will build and own strategic reference data platforms, participate in all SDLC stages in an agile Scrum setup, and collaborate with business analysts, production support, and infrastructure teams across time zones.

The role requires 6+ years of Java experience, proficiency in Spring Boot, REST, SQL/PL-SQL on Oracle, and familiarity with tools like Jira, CI/CD and SonarQube.

Responsibilities

• Candidate will be responsible for building out the firm's strategic reference data platforms to serve businesses within client company. The successful applicant will take ownership of key projects and components and will be responsible for all phases of SDLC including analysis and design, development, testing and deployment. As a developer, the candidate will be responsible for developing & deploying technical solution following engineering excellence standards. A potential candidate will need to understand system and enterprise architecture concepts and will be expected to understand how all components fir together and impact one another. They will work with a global and diverse team of peers as well as liaise closely with Business Analyst, Production Support, and infrastructure teams.
• - Deliver assigned development projects withing agreed schedule, quality and scope expectations
• - Participate in all stages of SDLC within an agile Scrum environment
• - Form partnership with technology vendors and gain deep understanding of products
• - Enhance/Re-architect existing components to satisfy new requirements in terms of performance and scalability
• - Provide level 3 (escalation) support for the application

• - Java (Core, JDBC, MT, Collections, I/O), Spring Boot
• - SQL.PL-SQL on Oracle DB
