Job summary

Qualifications

• Ten or more years in application development, especially REST API design.
• Bachelor's degree in software engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Proficient in Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3 with Git knowledge.
• DevOps experience using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Harness and Docker.
• Experience with AWS and Kubernetes environments.
• Use of AI agents (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to support development and testing.
• Ability to analyze AI outputs and adjust accordingly.
• Understanding of SOA and REST design principles.
• Familiarity with Decision Modeler Platform or Blaze Advisor is a plus.
• Curiosity, autonomy and a willingness to learn while collaborating with teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain REST APIs to meet business needs.
• Modernize applications by upgrading to newer technologies.
• Adopt DevSecOps to integrate security in the SDLC.
• Analyze change requests and implement solutions.
• Provide operational support and evolve applications.
• Document platforms and technical specifications.
• Develop and validate test cases; participate in integration tests.
• Perform code reviews and improve documentation.
• Ensure quality, stability and security of systems.
• Leverage AI agents to accelerate design, coding and testing.
• Critically evaluate AI deliverables and adjust as needed.
• Advance development practices for collaboration with AI tools.
