Job summary

Gertex Solutions, based in Ontario, is seeking a technically versatile senior IT professional to act as the internal technical lead for ERP, CRM, infrastructure, and cloud platforms. You will work closely with the IT Director and an external MSP to ensure reliable systems and secure operations across the business.

This role covers ERP and CRM administration (P21 and Salesforce), Microsoft 365 management, networking and server infrastructure, and cybersecurity oversight.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary IT/CS degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
• At least five years of IT systems administration experience across multiple technical areas.
• Hands-on ERP administration experience, Prophet 21 is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 administration and Azure/Entra ID.
• Networking fundamentals and SQL querying.
• Strong documentation habits and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain ERP/CRM systems (P21 and Salesforce) and related integrations.
• Own and escalate day-to-day operations with MSP, providing escalation support.
• Manage the Microsoft 365 tenant, Azure AD, and security posture.
• Oversee networking, server infrastructure, backup systems, and virtualization.
• Coordinate upgrades, patches, and UAT with stakeholders.
• Ensure security controls and policy enforcement with Defender and Secure Score.
