Job summary

Schema App in Guelph, Ontario, is seeking a Senior IT Engineer to own our internal IT function, ensuring reliable endpoints, identity, access, and SOC 2 controls.

This hands-on role is about 50% internal IT operations and 50% project work across automation, AI/MCP, and DevOps, with regular on-site work at our Guelph office.

You will report to the Software Engineering Manager and collaborate across the Engineering team to keep systems secure and efficient.

Qualifications

• Own identity and access, endpoints, Microsoft 365 / Entra, MDM/Intune, patching, device lifecycle, and employee onboarding/offboarding.
• Manage company hardware and on-site IT services at Schema App’s Guelph office.
• Maintain IT-owned SOC 2 controls, including Vanta evidence, access reviews, device compliance, and testing.
• Deliver Engineering-prioritized projects across internal IT, automation, AI/MCP, and DevOps.
• Maintain IT runbooks and improve security, reliability, and efficiency of internal systems.

Responsibilities
