Join to apply for the Senior, IT Security Analyst role at New-Indy Containerboard LLC

New-Indy Containerboard (NICB) is seeking a Senior IT Security Analyst with a focus on optimizing the cybersecurity posture in NICB’s IT & OT landscape. The role involves collaborating on policies, architectures, and training processes, overseeing security solutions, conducting vulnerability assessments, and leading incident response efforts. The Senior IT Security Analyst will work closely with Infrastructure and Network teams, external security advisors, and NICB’s IT & OT Sr. Leadership to implement effective security strategies and ensure the cybersecurity of NICB’s digital assets.

What You'll Do
Strategy & Planning
  • Implement and maintain enterprise security architecture.
  • Lead security awareness training programs.
  • Develop, enforce, and maintain security policies, baselines, and procedures.
  • Oversee Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans.
Acquisition & Deployment
  • Assess and integrate new security solutions, ensuring compliance with policies.
  • Manage deployment of security enhancements with proper configuration.
  • Stay informed about emerging threats and mitigation techniques.
Operational Management
  • Conduct threat analysis and risk assessments.
  • Identify, assess, and remediate system vulnerabilities.
  • Lead penetration testing and security audits.
  • Enforce security policies organization-wide.
  • Lead investigations for security incidents.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to align security strategies with organizational goals.
What You'll Need
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related (Master’s preferred).
  • 7+ years in IT security, enterprise architecture, and risk management.
  • Advanced certifications like CISSP, CISM, GIAC preferred.
  • Expertise in Splunk, DarkTrace, SentinelOne, FortiSIEM, Fortigate, Cylance.
  • Experience with ISO-27000, NIST Framework, penetration testing, cloud security.
  • Knowledge of Windows, Mac OS, enterprise networking.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in 24x7 manufacturing environments.
  • Leadership and project management skills.
  • Ability to research, prioritize, and work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of data privacy laws.
  • Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
Work Conditions
  • 40-hour on-site work week with emergency call-in.
  • Ability to operate computer equipment and lift 40 lbs.
  • Participation in sessions, presentations, and meetings.
  • Location: Ontario, California.
  • Some travel may be required.

Salary range: $100,000 - $120,000 annually. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, retirement plan, paid holidays, and PTO. Compensation is estimated based on location and experience.
