Job summary

NLB Services in Calgary, AB, seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead technology and business initiatives in a regulated Utilities/Energy environment. You will drive governance, budgets, risk, and stakeholder engagement while shaping application enhancement roadmaps.

The role requires 15+ years PM experience, PMP/PRINCE2 certification, and hands-on Azure DevOps Boards; onsite presence 2 days/week is expected in Calgary.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of hands-on Project Management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification.
• Strong experience with Waterfall and Hybrid-Agile methodologies.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasting, resources, risks, and multiple concurrent projects.
• Hands-on Azure DevOps Boards experience as a Product Manager and Scrum Master.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project documentation, including charters, change requests, status reports, and risk registers.
• Must be located in/near Calgary, AB and available onsite at least 2 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from initiation through closure.
• Define scope, objectives, schedules, resources, budgets, and governance.
• Manage stakeholders, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
• Monitor project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and resources.
• Provide executive-level status reporting and risk updates.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Conduct project closeout, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives.
