Job summary

House of Commons Administration is seeking a Manager, IT PMO to lead high-profile IT and infrastructure projects central to modernizing Canada’s Parliamentary Precinct. The role oversees cross-functional teams and collaborates with Parliament, the Senate, the Library, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless IT integration with construction and refurbishment initiatives.

The position requires a strategic leader with extensive experience in project management, governance, and stakeholder

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management OR an acceptable combination of post-secondary education with relevant experience.
• Experience in project and program management, including project life cycle, resource planning, risk management, and performance measurement.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives, setting priorities, and delivering results on time and within budget.
• Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder engagement, negotiation, conflict resolution, and team leadership in a matrix environment.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies, multimedia, integrated security systems, and IT infrastructure in the context of large construction or refurbishment projects.
• Experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing team members to achieve high performance and career growth.
