Job summary

SaskGaming is seeking a Senior Technical Analyst to provide cross-platform IT operations expertise, influence new services and technologies, and implement them. You will support infrastructure optimization, capacity planning, incident resolution, and disaster recovery planning, while mentoring junior staff.

The role emphasizes leadership in technology program development and a secure, resilient IT environment across enterprise systems.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 6–10 years of directly related work experience.
  • Certifications in Microsoft, VMware, Veeam and Dell desired.
  • Experience in server administration, server virtualization, enterprise storage, backup/recovery, and hybrid cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure management and capacity planning; input into operational technology roadmap and enterprise applications.
  • Lead planning, documentation and implementation of approved infrastructure projects; participate in Change Advisory Board decisions.
  • Identify, analyze and diagnose incidents across IT infrastructure and endpoints; mentor team members.
  • Design, configure and maintain business continuity plans including disaster recovery planning.
  • Mentorship and guidance to Technical Analysts within the team.
