Job summary

WSP in Vancouver, BC, is seeking a Senior Information Technology Consultant to lead the design and delivery of secure, connected, future-ready buildings. Based in our Vancouver office and reporting to the Manager, Technology, you will provide senior technical and project leadership for large security and technology assignments across the region.

You will mentor teams, advance technical standards, and help grow WSP's information technology infrastructure expertise, including structured cabling,

Qualifications

• RCDD designation is mandatory.
• Advanced expertise in IT infrastructure, structured cabling, network, and technology systems design.
• Experience leading large, complex security and technology projects from concept to closeout.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada Secret security clearance; valid driver’s license and travel.
• Data Center Design Consultant (DCDC) designation is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex security and technology projects, setting the technical direction for secure, connected environments across British Columbia.
• Direct IT infrastructure, structured cabling, network, and technology systems design from concept to closeout.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, contracts, and commercial performance while aligning teams to quality and client outcomes.
• Strengthen client relationships through workshops, presentations, and strategic proposals.
• Collaborate with leaders to integrate security, audiovisual, and building systems into future-ready designs.
