Job summary

The Salvation Army in Canada is seeking an IT Infrastructure & Systems Specialist to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing technology systems across Canada. You will manage core communications infrastructure, monitor systems, and support on-premises, hosted, and Azure environments to maintain business continuity and security.

This 12-month contract requires a Bachelor’s degree in IT or CS and at least five years of experience with enterprise services, cloud hosting, and Windows

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or CS.
• Minimum 5 years supporting enterprise services, hosting, private/public cloud, SaaS.
• Expertise in IT infrastructure, systems admin, and operations across disciplines.
• Strong Windows desktop, laptop environments and networking concepts.
• Proficient with Microsoft technologies and business apps.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with risk awareness.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities.
• Effective communication with technical and business stakeholders.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively, mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technology asset lifecycle and resource planning for informed decisions.
• Provide accurate technology asset data for efficient operations.

• Support long-term technology planning with capacity analyses.
• Coordinate software license compliance and audits.
• Analyze lifecycle data to identify cost optimization opportunities.
