• Related university degree or a two-year technical diploma in computer science or a related field.
• 2+ years of progressively responsible IT experience in sustainment, support, development, or with business partners/external providers.
• Experience in IT project planning, data analysis, and systems implementation.
• Understanding of AVEVA PI Data Historian best practices, standards, and SOPs.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under deadlines.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call 24/7 support rotation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain AVEVA PI Data Historian production and development environments.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, testing, and configuration changes.
• Support interfaces to PI Data Archive, PI AF, and PI Vision servers.
• Support the High Availability architecture of PI environments.
• Develop PI AF calculations and event frames.
• Define and configure PI AF templates and solution hierarchies.
• Resolve connection, performance, and data flow issues.
• Collaborate with PI team members to fulfill service requests.
• Prepare and maintain Enbridge-standard documentation.
• Participate in the 24x7 on-call support rotation.

• Support interfaces connecting to PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework (AF), and PI Vision servers
• Support the High Availability architecture of PI environments
• Develop PI AF calculations and event frames
• Define and configure PI AF templates and solution hierarchies
• Resolve connection, performance, and data flow issues
• Collaborate with PI team members to fulfill application support and service requests
• Prepare and maintain documentation according to Enbridge standards
• Participate in the 24x7 support team on-call rotation
• Coordinate meetings and the setup and rollout of projects or systems with support functions
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop, review, and implement transition-related reporting and metrics
• Provide senior leaders and executive management with insight into business performance

Requirements

• A related university degree or a two-year technical diploma in computer science or a related field
• 2+ years of progressively responsible experience in information technology, application sustainment/support/development, and working with business partners and external service providers
• Experience in IT project planning, process analysis, data analysis, systems implementation, and operations
• Understanding of PI Data Historian (AVEVA PI) best practices, standards, and operating procedures
• Good analytical and interpretive skills
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to balance competing priorities and determine the appropriate course of action
• Ability to multi-task and work to strict deadlines
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation for 24/7 support
