We are looking for an experienced iOS Engineer to join our Payments team and help us revolutionize the way people move around cities by building secure, seamless, and efficient payment experiences directly within our consumer-facing applications. As a key member of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to design, develop, and maintain the core payment technology that powers millions of transactions globally for our users. With our rapid global expansion, you’ll play a vital role in crafting highly scalable payment architecture systems that can process a massive volume of requests originating from our consumer apps. What you will do:

• Identify, define, and strategically solve essential technical problems, including architecting and building highly scalable foundational platforms, spearheading new product initiatives, and revamping core application experiences.

• Evaluate and provide clear reasoning for the technology and architecture choices made, as you will often be decider for these choices.

• Lead the cross-functional collaboration with PMs, Engineers, Design, Data Scientists, Research, and Operations teams.

• Mentor and guide other engineers on the team. Identify and develop future leaders.

• Advise Lime’s management team on key technology adoption and process improvements.

• Contribute to shaping overall engineering culture at the company.

About you:

• 6+ years of industry professional software development experience, and a track record of building impactful products or systems.

• Strong background and proven leadership in iOS development.

• Experience in payment integrations, financial technology and payment processing standards. (preferred)

• Android development experience. (bonus)

• Dynamic, driven and hands-on, yet capable to multitask across functions.

• Experience with mobile testing frameworks and services.
