What you will be doing:

As a Senior iOS Developer, you will be part of a team rebuilding our mobile banking app, contributing to world-class digital products on iOS that serve millions of Tangerine customers daily. We seek influencers, creators, and leaders who are flexible, curious, adventurous, and collaborative, ready to make an impact in the banking industry.

In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable iOS applications using Swift and the iOS SDK.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on iOS projects, staying current with industry trends.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and performance standards.
• Mentor junior developers to foster continuous learning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, Backend, Product, Design) to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Optimize applications for speed, stability, and scalability, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional iOS development experience, with a strong record of App Store releases.
• Proficiency in Swift; Objective-C is a plus.
• Deep understanding of iOS frameworks (UIKit, SwiftUI, Core Data, Core Animation, etc.).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and backend integration.
• Knowledge of iOS design patterns (MVC, MVP, MVVM, VIPER).
• Understanding of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines.
• Familiarity with Xcode, CocoaPods/Swift Package Manager, Git, and CI platforms (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Experience with automated and UI testing frameworks.
• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and collaborate effectively.
