Job description

Conduct and manage complex, high-impact investigations independently and collaboratively with CIS specialized teams, demonstrating expertise in areas such as credit fraud, deposit fraud, client-related fraud, and internal investigations. Provide Subject Matter Expertise, advice, and support across all Investigative Support case types, including OSINT, Financial, and Digital Analysis. Contribute to process improvements to enhance team capabilities and expertise.

What will you do?

1. Maintain 90% or higher QAR results.
2. Manage cases efficiently, reducing days age through effective prioritization and time management.
3. Simplify complex financial data, generate insights, and communicate meaningful patterns to partners and colleagues through presentations.
4. Develop capability as a Digital Identifier SME, utilizing IP lookups, email header analysis, Concur reports, etc.
5. Enhance OSINT skills to locate clients, related persons, relationships, and locations to support Asset Recovery, police reports, etc.
6. Participate in industry projects, representing RBC to external partners, including Law Enforcement, CBSA, and CBA.
7. Apply critical thinking to produce comprehensive analytical results.
8. Contribute to process optimization projects to adapt investigations to external changes impacting CIS.
9. Ensure data entry integrity in EIM to support accurate Tableau reporting.
10. Develop financial formulas or models in Excel for complex investigations and Major Cases.
11. Act as a change champion, mentor investigators, and role model a growth mindset.
12. Foster a culture of joint ownership and collaboration within RBC.
13. Support skill development sessions for investigators to improve performance and knowledge.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

• Post-secondary education or equivalent.
• 3+ years’ experience in CIS investigations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Advanced Excel skills, including formula creation.
• Knowledge of CAMPS.
• Understanding of banking software, policies, procedures, and operational requirements.
